Recruiting Supervisor supervises the activities of the employment department. Oversees a company's recruiting programs, policies, and procedures to develop and utilize various sources of potential applicants to fulfill staffing needs. Being a Recruiting Supervisor reviews and approves content and placement of job postings in newspapers, magazines, trade or professional journals, or online media. Maintains relationships with and visits high schools, trade schools, colleges, job fairs, and related venues as part of recruiting efforts. Additionally, Recruiting Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. POSITION SUMMARY :
The Recruiting Specialist partners with store management and provides a high service level of recruitment support for their assigned region.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS :
Support Stores / Operations with all recruiting and hiring needs in Workday to include :
Develop and maintain positive relationships with Stores / Operations management
Posting jobs to external job boards
Utilizing recruitment communication technology
Reviewing applications
Conducting initial phone screens
Coordinating & scheduling in-person interviews
Moving the applicant through the Workday Recruiting processes
Providing guidance to hiring managers on Workday Hiring & Onboarding processes
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Educational / Experience Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in HR preferred
Experience with Workday Recruiting a plusRequired Technical Skills / Knowledge :
Competent with a range of systems and tools to perform basic functions including Google Suite and cloud-based HRIS systemsGeneral Knowledge and Abilities :
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to understand sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization
Strong critical thinking, complex problem solving skills
Highly organized, detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
