Coastal Animal Referral Emergency in Williamsburg, VA is currently hiring for a full-time Licensed Vet Tech to provide excellent care to the animals brought to our veterinary clinic. This Licensed Vet Tech position earns a competitive wage of $26 - $32/hour.

DAY-TO-DAY

This is a daytime urgent position and emergency care. Overnight positions are also available, which will include a shift differential. Overnight hospitalizations and critical care will involve nursing care for our patients.

As a Licensed Vet Tech / LVT, you have the skills and knowledge that our clients rely on. Ensuring our patients are properly cared for, you provide nursing care and various treatments based on each animal's needs. You also collect samples and operate imaging equipment. When urgent care is needed, you are sure to quickly triage work with our veterinarians to initiate appropriate treatment and diagnostics. With patience and professionalism, you handle any concerns, issues, and questions that may arise. Your communication skills allow you to communicate in a genuine and clear way so each client understands what is going on. You are truly the glue to our operations. As a vet tech, you enjoy being able to work with animals every day and are proud to play a role in keeping them healthy and happy!
