Our company is searching for a talented and experienced machine operator for a woodworking manufacturer. You will be responsible for ensuring our company produces quality parts specific to our software programs and client standards. Types of machines can vary from ------
The machine operator needs to be a qualified professional, with excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. He will be responsible for managing our production parts, quality control, and designated machine maintenance.
To be successful as a machine operator you should be perceptive, detail-oriented, and an active learner. Top candidates must have critical thinking skills, time management, and communication skills, an ability to handle machines, materials, tools, and a willingness to lead by example in the workplace.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Check machinery daily to guarantee maintenance and functionality.
- Understand measurements and dimensions for production.
- Ensure that the machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
- Conduct regular machine assessments
- Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating parts.
- Ensure that the results of the machining process come to closure on time to align with client expectations.
- Performing inspections of equipment, cutting materials, and products.
- Set up and manage machines to perform different jobs including static and programmed.
- Controlling machines and processes.
- Analyzing information and finding the best solutions to problems.
- Always Maintaining clear and honest communication.
- Keeping the work environment, himself, and others safe always.
Qualifications/ Skills & Abilities:
- Previous experience is preferred; training will be provided
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to maintain and clean equipment and work area
- Must be able to work independently / and be self-motivated reliable, responsible, and on time. (Early is on-time, on-time, late is unacceptable)
- A professional work ethic is a must.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills. (Must Speak English)
- Must be able to work with and as an effective part of a team.
- Must have good interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands:
- CNC Operator
- Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform related duties and responsibilities, including heavy lifting
- Must be able to move in excess of 50 lbs throughout the facility.
- All basic Safety Equipment will be supplied
