Shift $19 / hour

Rotating schedule (week 1 - 36 hours, week 2 - 48 hours), 6 : 00am-6 : 00pm

A small, family owned soybean processing plant in Cherokee, IA is hiring a 1

shift Refinery Operator to join their growing team. This Refinery Operator works on a team to monitor and adjust parameters while processing a wide variety of edible oils.

Responsibilities :

• Regulate flow of materials to and from conveyors chutes, pumps, or storage bins
• Adjust equipment to maintain a uniform flow of materials
• Keep records of material processed
• Clean and lubricate equipment
• Perform general labor, housekeeping, and sanitation responsibilities as required

Requirements :

• Mechanical knowledge of pumps, valves, and steam systems is a plus
• Strong reading, writing, math, and analytical skills
• Must have great attitude and be willing to try new things
