Responsibilities include monitoring pressure and flow and reading gauges and adjusting valves as needed. Being a Refinery Operator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Refinery Operator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and directing the supply chain and logistics function within the refinery and petrochemicals industry.
Responsibilities- Manage supply chain & logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy for one or more integrated refinery and petrochemical complexes.
- Monitor and analyze the organization's supply chain performance metrics.
- Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the team.
- Establish policies and procedures that optimize the supply chain and logistics performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain and logistics operations.
- BS degree in Supply Chain or any Engineering discipline with 10 years of experience in refining and petrochemical industry
- At least 10 years of experience in refinery and petrochemicals supply chain & logistics.
- Experience in implementing and managing supply chain management systems.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
