Refinery Operator controls equipment systems that process natural gas or petroleum into specified products. Responsibilities include monitoring pressure and flow and reading gauges and adjusting valves as needed. Being a Refinery Operator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, and lift trucks to move materials and products pick parts
- Safely pick product while using reach truck
- Perform order picking and ensure accurate inventory counts
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience operating reach, forklifts, or lift trucks
- Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory management
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory and reading
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
