Regional Agency Director is responsible for all facets of sales performance for insurance agencies within a designated geographic area. Develops policies, objectives, and initiatives for agencies in the region and is responsible for ensuring the region meets its projected goals. Being a Regional Agency Director coordinates operations with those of other regions. Directs agency and district managers in achieving their goals and objectives of securing the optimum volume of high-quality business at proper cost. Additionally, Regional Agency Director is responsible for number of premiums written per region. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Regional Agency Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Regional Agency Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Livingston Family Center is a nonprofit organization focused on providing quality community-based services that include outpatient mental health treatment, runaway and homeless youth emergency shelter and crisis intervention, and supervised visitation and exchanges for families affected by domestic violence.  

     

    Programs of the Livingston Family Center 

    Counseling Services 

    Livingston Family Center provides outpatient mental health treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our ten contractual therapists utilize various treatment methods to assist clients with their mental health needs. On average, this program provides services to 200 clients a year. 

     

    The Connection Youth Services

    The Connection Youth Services (TCYS) provides safe shelter, crisis intervention, individual and family therapy, case management, and outreach services to homeless youth and their families ages 11-21. TCYS operates a licensed 6-bed emergency shelter, a Drop-In Center, and transitional housing for young adults. TCYS provides services to 125 youth per year. 

     

    The Family Connection Center

    The Family Connection Center (TFCC) provides supervised parenting time and safe exchanges between children and their non-custodial parents in a safe, neutral environment with trained observers. This program allows children to maintain or re-establish relationships with their non-custodial parent. TFCC facilitates services for 25-30 families per year. 

     

    Agency Executive Director Responsibilities

    The Agency Executive Director has strategic and operational responsibility for Livingston Family Center staff, contractors, volunteers, maintenance of existing programs, and the development of new programs as determined by the board of directors.  

     

    Leadership and Management

    • Ensure that programs are well run, thoroughly evaluated, and reach targeted outcomes in manners consistent with LFC’s mission, vision, and values. 
    • Maintain and improve business systems, including financial management, fundraising, communication, and human relations. 
    • Cultivate a diverse staff team that reflects the needs of the community. 
    • Create policies and structures necessary to maintain staff, contractor, volunteer, and clientele safety while achieving program goals in alignment with LFC’s mission and vision.  
    • Oversee agency compliance with all LFC policies, procedures, and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
    • Maintain compliance with all emergency shelter licensing rules and requirements. 
    • Develop, maintain, and support a strong board of directors. Provide board of directors’ support such as setting meeting agendas, meeting notes, and meeting agenda packets. 
    • Develop and implement strategies to keep LFC’s board of directors’ current on pertinent agency events, program outcomes, and budget performance. 

     

    Fundraising, Grants, and Communications

    • Based on LFC policies and mission, the Agency Executive Director will seek out and initiate proposals to potential grantors. 
    • Oversee the writing and submission of local, state, and federal grants. 
    • Responsibility for managing all local, state, and federal grants and related reports, fiscal allocation, and documentation. 
    • Work with local, state, and federal partners to strengthen relationships and expand funding. 
    • Manage and cultivate fundraising events and opportunities.  
    • Serve as the LFC spokesperson locally, statewide, and nationally. 

     

    Qualifications

    The Agency Director will be thoroughly committed to LFC’s mission and vision. All candidates should have proven leadership and relationship-management experience.

    Specific requirements and preferences include the following:

    • Master’s Degree from an accredited university in a human service field required. 
    • Licensed MSW, LLP or other state certification in the human service field that is current and in good standing is preferred. 
    • 3-5 years of counseling experience working with families and youth is preferred. 
    • Must complete of all required background checks and health screenings
    • A commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation. 
    • Excellent organizational management skills with the ability to coach staff, contractors, and volunteers. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Ability to cultivate public relations and donor relationships. 
    • Experience in program development, budgeting, fundraising, and grant writing. 
    • Ability to work effectively and collaborate with diverse groups of people. 
    • Past success working with board of directors and ability to cultivate existing board member relationships. 

     

    Compensation and Benefits

    The Agency Executive Director is a full-time, exempt position. LFC provides a competitive salary and benefits package that includes paid holidays, vacation, and sick time, healthcare and dental insurance, and a flexible schedule. The starting salary range is $68,000-$72,000 a year and will be commensurate with education, qualifications, and experience.
