Regional Agency Director is responsible for all facets of sales performance for insurance agencies within a designated geographic area. Develops policies, objectives, and initiatives for agencies in the region and is responsible for ensuring the region meets its projected goals. Being a Regional Agency Director coordinates operations with those of other regions. Directs agency and district managers in achieving their goals and objectives of securing the optimum volume of high-quality business at proper cost. Additionally, Regional Agency Director is responsible for number of premiums written per region. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Regional Agency Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Regional Agency Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.   • Job Summary:

    The Director is responsible for the overall support of assigned office(s), program(s) and/or geographic region(s) of services. They will function as a member of the leadership team and participate in planning, implementing and leading assigned services. They will work with the Vice Presidents and the Executive Vice President to provide quality, personnel, strategic and fiscal management support within their designated service delivery region. The Director will promote the mission, vision, values and philosophy of the organization.

    Essential Job Functions:

    The Regional Director will adhere to and perform the essential functions as outlined below. They will consistently maintain quality services by:

    • Implementing and carrying out quality assurance processes.
    • Ensuring the initial and on-going training needs of staff are met.
    • Maintaining strong, effective community and organizational relationships including regularly scheduled meetings with local Targeted Case Management groups and DMH Regional Offices.
    • Meeting contractual and legal requirements per Department of Mental Health (DMH) guidelines, DMH Licensure and Certification standards and Preferred Family Healthcare (PFH) requirements.
    • Manage the financial needs of the office/program site
    • Know and implement PFH policies and procedures.
    • Participate in local provider meetings and DMH meetings as scheduled.
    • Collaborate with all PFH service lines.
    • Maintain and promote the vision, values and philosophy of PFH.
    • Oversee documentation of electronic health records (Therap) for all clients including ensuring all required forms are uploaded and documentation is being completed per shift.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Ability to operate calmly in a crisis.
    • Relate positively to funding sources and other stakeholders.
    • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience and skill in supervision and team building.
    • Willingness to do “whatever it takes” to provide good services.
    • Ability and willingness to follow through on routine and emergency situations.
    • Willingness to work direct care shifts if required.
    • Be familiar with the Individualized Support Plan Process.

    Experience and Education Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in the Social Sciences or related field preferred.
    • Five years of experience in working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.
    • Must have a basic knowledge of the Missouri Department of Mental Health-Developmental Disabilities guidelines/requirements and Medicaid requirements.

    Supervisory Requirements:

    • Supervises all assigned staff.
    • Communicate the strategic direction of the organization and encourage participation by all associates.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to all aspects of services provided.
    • Effectively communicate to associates any changes and news worthy events within the department of company to all associates.
    • Handle difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion and Human Resource advice to show respect for the individual.
    • Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas.

    Employment Requirements:

    • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record and abuse/neglect.
    • Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
    • All training requirements including Relias Learning at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.
    • Must have current or be willing to obtain certification in CPR/First Aid.
    • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    The physical demands vary depending on the supports required by the client. While performing the duties of this job, the associate at times will be required to stoop, bend, use fine motor skills in extremities for cooking, cleaning, medication administration and operation of a vehicle, etc. The associate may occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

    Must be physically able to perform CPR (as instructed in the CPR manual) and First Aid.

    May be required to assist with physical transfers or lifting, depending on the needed supports of the clients include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
