Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes following recipes and presentation guidelines
- Oversee and manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely food service
- Monitor food quality and ensure adherence to food safety standards
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and assistants
- Develop new menu items and specials based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Collaborate with management to create cost-effective menus while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Creativity and passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
