First and only Ukrainian Restaurant in Florida Pierogi Bar St Pete is looking for one Chef to join our strong team. We are located on 6661 Central Ave. Our ideal candidate is passionate about Ukrainian food culture, self-driven, motivated, reliable and hard working. Strong knowledge of Ukrainian and Eastern European culinary arts is a must. Ukrainian language is recommended but not required.

Well qualified candidate yearly compensation starts at $52000 and will vary on your qualification and performance. While on training and learning pay rate starts at line cook level and will elevated after evaluation. Manager ServeSafe is required and non negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food safety handling and sanitation practices for kitchen staff
• Design, Prepare, and promote Ukrainian and Eastern European dishes to customer preferences with a focus on breakfast and lunch items
• Hire, plan and delegate food preparation and cooking tasks to the BOH team
• Train and develop cooks as needed

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate the team
• Relevant food safety and handling certificate is a must and non negotiable
• Experience as a chef with strong knowledge of Ukrainian cuisine and ingredients is a must
