Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the food production and kitchen operations in our restaurant. This is a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals and exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities: - Plan and execute menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards - Prepare and cook food items, ensuring proper portioning, presentation, and flavor - Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and supervising their work - Maintain inventory control and order necessary supplies to ensure smooth operations - Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations - Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials - Monitor food quality and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistency - Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth transitions between meal periods Requirements: - Proven experience working as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting - Strong knowledge of food production techniques and kitchen management - Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create innovative and delicious dishes - Proficient in menu planning and cost control measures - Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff - Exceptional organizational and time management skills - Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of restaurant management principles is a plus If you are a passionate Chef with a love for creating exceptional culinary experiences, we would love to hear from you. Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
