Regional Claims Manager manages the operations of an insurance claims department to meet operational, financial, and service requirements. Oversees the intake and processing of insurance claims for personal, property, or casualty loss based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage. Being a Regional Claims Manager manages appraisal and examination staff and processes. Assures timely and proper disposition of claims based on policy provisions. Remote in the Quad Cities: Currently hiring a Regional Manager to serve Northwestern Illinois
Position Description and Responsibilities
The Regional Manager initiates and maintains relationships with manufacturers, assesses their challenges and opportunities, and sells IMEC’s continuous improvement consulting and training solutions. Responsibilities include analyzing customer needs and identifying potential IMEC resources, leading sales calls and delivering sales presentations, coordinating sales efforts with IMEC’s technical experts, building the sales pipeline, and networking to generate sales leads .
Regional Managers provide direct consultation to manufacturers within their own area of expertise, prepare proposals, deliver sales presentations, and manage project engagements. They also develop and manage third party resources, and participate on IMEC’s service development and process improvement teams.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on manufacturing, engineering, technology, consulting and/or business management required. Master’s Degree preferred. Three to five years or more of advanced experience in manufacturing sales, consultative sales and/or business-to-business sales preferred.
Particular consideration will be given to candidates with the proven ability to lead companies down a path of continuous improvement, with the demonstrated capacity to diagnose company needs and effectively communicate value to all levels of the company, from production personnel to top management. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Candidates should be sincerely interested in helping manufacturers implement new manufacturing techniques and processes. Must have strong work ethic, a passion for consultative selling, a great attitude, and ability to thrive in an autonomous, objective-driven environment. An IMEC Regional Manager will need tact and diplomacy in dealing with manufacturers, professional associations, government stakeholder representatives, and other service providers.
Virtual work environment. Requires sitting for extended periods of time, standing, visual acumen, manual dexterity and fingering for working with computer key boards.
Regular daily travel in the assigned territory with occasional extended travel to remote facilities across the state.
