Join the team of a world-class manufacturer in Rock Hill, SC, as a Human Resources Manager. In this role, you will coordinate all administrative activities related to an organization's personnel. You will develop recruitment strategies, implement systems for managing staff benefits, payroll, and behavior, and onboard new employees.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions
Ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects candidates to fill vacant positions
Work with outside vendors to acquire and maintain welfare benefit plans
Investigate employee complaints/concerns; use the advice of legal counsel when necessary; and advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization
Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within the organization
Conducts wage and salary surveys within the labor market to determine competitive compensation
Represents the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations
Leads efforts in developing and implementing employee training through work with managers, supervisors, and employees
Work with Senior Management staff on employee development activities including succession planning,
leadership development, career development, and other employee development processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with five to ten years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. PHR or SPHR certification preferred
