QUALIFICATIONS for the position of Human Resource Manager:
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
· 2 years’ experience in Human Resources.
· 2 years’ experience in Healthcare (Long Term Care Preferred).
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Human Resource Manager include, but are not limited to:
· Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.
· Responds to employee relations issues.
· Monitors the performance evaluation program.
· Communicates benefits information to employees.
· Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill job openings.
· Conducts new hire orientations.
· Coaches, counsels and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.
· Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
· Responsible for auditing employee personnel files, keeping them current.
· Maintains working relationship with union officials and terms of labor contract.
· Reports, maintains and monitors Workers' Compensation, LOA, FMLA cases.
Processes unemployment claims - attends unemployment hearings, if needed.
· Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
