Regional Human Resources Manager jobs in Vincennes, IN
Regional Human Resources Manager designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies, including staffing, compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs for a region within an organization. Ensures existing programs in compliance with government regulations. Being a Regional Human Resources Manager may lead the work of Human Resources Business Partners. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Regional Human Resources Manager typically reports to a Director or top executive. The Regional Human Resources Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Regional Human Resources Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Bradford Supply Company is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team and administer various human resources programs. This will be a stand-alone position that supports all Bradford Supply Company locations as well as Tri-State Machine employees.
Responsibilities
- Administer employee insurance and 401k programs
- Lead talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Process employee payroll on a bi-weekly and monthly basis
- Conduct employee onboarding
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Ensure compliance with multiple state and federal labor laws
Skills
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist
- BS/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources or relevant field
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
