Job Title: Human Resources Manager - Freight Brokerage - $60,000 to $80,000 Yearly Salary Depending on Experience

Position Overview: As the HR Director at King of Freight, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing human resources strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent in the fast-paced and dynamic environment of the freight brokerage industry. You will lead a dedicated HR team and collaborate with various departments to ensure the organization's workforce is equipped to meet current and future business needs. You will play a key role in creating efficiency throughout the departments inclusive of tracking all HR Departments tasks to ensure efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and industry regulations.
• Lead recruitment efforts to attract and select qualified candidates for various positions within the organization, with a focus on building a diverse and high-performing team across all departments.

• Drive employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Oversee performance management processes within the HR Department, providing guidance on professional development, coaching, and feedback.
• Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and effective manner.
• Lead compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness in the job market.
• Stay informed about industry trends and employment legislation, adapting HR practices accordingly.
• Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with current business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification Required. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR leadership role, preferably (but not required) within the logistics or freight brokerage industry.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business success.
• Experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.
• Proficient in HRIS (preferably Bamboo) and Microsoft Office Suite.
