     Duties include: 
    • Processing and posting payments and charges.
    • Speaking directly with patients about outstanding balances, reviewing accounts, preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.  
    • Examining and investigating medical bills for accuracy, obtaining or correcting information, appealing denied claims and responding to insurance company's request for records.  
    • Experience with accessing and navigating through various payer portals.
    • Working accounts receivables and patient accounts.

     Requirements:
    • The candidate would need to have experience in posting insurance payments, personal payments, collections, billing office visits and surgery charges.
    • Candidate must be experienced in calling insurance directly to resolve claims when required.
    • Able to do soft collections and work the A/R.
    • Must be able to interpret an EOB.
