Regional Manager (Consumer Loans) manages the consumer loan activity for multiple branches, teams, or geographic locations. Helps research, develop, communicate, and implement lending policies. Being a Regional Manager (Consumer Loans) analyzes lending data to identify risks, trends, and areas for improvement. Ensures lending volume and profit goals are met. Additionally, Regional Manager (Consumer Loans) develops a productive staff with training and coaching. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.     The Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic plans of an assigned region. Including recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing team to maintain a culture of outstanding customer service that drives revenue, profitability, and growth in daily operations.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • General operating and management duties for properties.
    • Training and oversight of property managers.
    • Daily calls and weekly goals/accountability for implementation of process.
    • Development of District Managers.
    • Marketing ideas and creativity to help leasing operations.
    • Technology overview and implementation.
    • Conduct site audits and reconcile of site link with Property Managers.
    • Review and discuss with Management, Revenue Management (Rent) and Expense Control by region managed.
    • Conduct training, oversight, and team building with Property Managers.
    • Strategic planning of portfolio for Capital Projects that enhance revenue.
    • Assist with Customer escalations to find resolutions and helping local property management.
    • Expense approval for general billing with Corporate Accounting.
    • General reporting to Executive Management team.
    • Assistance with checking final payroll numbers and auditing hours of managers.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Previous multi-unit storage management experience.
    • 10 years in a supervisory position preferred.
    • Proven leadership experience in hiring, training, and developing teams of hourly and managerial (exempt) employees.
    • Ability to visit multiple properties within region.
    • Strong financial, analytical, and time management skills.
    • Proficient with Word and Excel and web-based systems.
    • Proven results with the ability to drive revenue and control expenses to budget.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    • Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain harmonious relationships with customers and co-workers, in person, in writing and over the phone.
    • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
