    GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for cultivating and creating diverse, engaging content and publishing it across multiple channels to include social media, digital media, printed media, and more. This person will also represent an on-camera ambassador who connects the Woodloch brands with the public. This person must be a true storyteller, a specialist in video production, and someone who can easily connect with people.

    The Woodloch brand encompasses many stakeholders, which include two of the finest resort destinations in the country in Woodloch Resort and The Lodge at Woodloch, along with other assets requiring both internal and external communication. This person will develop and organize the communication and engagement strategy for all Woodloch properties, which range from a family resort to luxury destination spa. Most notably focused around on-camera storytelling, video production, and social media management.

    This is an extremely collaborative role where the primary function is to capture moments and make videos that tell the full story of the Woodloch experience from public offerings to events to behind the scenes. This person must exhibit an enthusiasm for connecting with people, most notably the internal staff of Woodloch; they must have a passion for helping others and demonstrate genuine hospitality.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIIES

    • Produce, from start to finish, digital video assets relative to marketing, social media, and advertising campaigns (like short-form vignettes, sizzle reels, interviews, and long-form videos)
    • Perform as the “on-air” personality, interviewer, and subject of video assets where appropriate
    • Must be able to adjust messaging due to the unique nature of all Woodloch properties, which include, The Lodge at Woodloch, Woodloch Pines, Woodloch Springs, The Market at Woodloch, The Builders at Woodloch.
    • Makes decisions with little or no guidance from the Director of Marketing, has a pulse on what the Companies needs are in the moment, and acts independently to develop content as needed.
    • Develop and execute social media campaigns, accounts and platforms simultaneously
      • In collaboration with the rest of the marketing team; prepare, create, schedule, post, interact, maintain, refresh, comment, curate, share, optimize, grow, and perpetuate the content that revolves around or touches the Woodloch family of brands in all organic channels
    • Communicate regularly with all departments across Woodloch properties to curate content
      • Develop a great working relationship with members in all departments and managers
      • Establish a network of content providers
      • Strong collaborator, easily works with others and develops strong relationships quickly.
    • Ultimate responsibility will be to generate awareness, expand reach, encourage communication, join conversations ultimately to drive traffic and sales
    • Other duties as assigned

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Demonstrable proficiency in content creation, photography, videography, and video editing
    • Proven experience in social media management, preferably with B2C or lifestyle brand experience
      • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
    • Must be proactive, organized, and have excellent communication skills along with strong time management skills with the ability to multitask
    • Must have experience in collaboration for content; Proven examples of your ability to work well with others
    • Have confidence in speaking and comfortable being in front of as well as behind the camera
    • The ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills
    • Will need to have a flexible schedule and plan to be “present” to document Woodloch stories when they happen
    • Must be tech savvy; excellent creative platform skills including proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud experience – specifically Premier and After Effects
    • 3-5 years’ commensurate work experience required
    • Hospitality experience preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing or communications preferred
    • Portfolio of work required
