Job Title : Communications Specialist

Duration : 1 year contract with possible extension

Location : Waterloo, IA

Pay Rate : $26-$28 / hour on W2 without any benefits

Your Responsibilities

Work to ensure employees are aware of, understand, and know how they can impact the goals for their Business Unit.

Provide communication support to departments, employee directed group, and managers to assist in identifying

communication needs and messaging.

Job Duties

• Deliver communications and graphic elements to internal and eternal partners that align with organization's goals
• Adhere to brand standards and tone when creating digital signage, printed content, digital content, and videos
• Assist in identifying communication needs and messages
• Assist in executing communication activities for Waterloo Operations (creation of materials for events, photography,

video, etc.)

• Serve as liaison with suppliers
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High working knowledge of Adobe Suite software
• Familiarity with design concepts and principles
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills

Education

Bachelors degree in Communications / Graphic Design / Business discipline or equivalent work experience
