SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the coordination and execution of GWBI marketing activities throughout North America. The Marketing Manager develops material that effectively describes and promotes GWBI, and our products and services including graphics, promotional items, company or product fact sheets, blogs and/or other promotional items. This position focuses on implementing marketing and sales programs that support the growth and expansion of GWBI products and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Lead formulation of the GWBI Marketing Plan.
· Coordinate and participate in tradeshow activities including preparation, registration, cost tracking, event support, booth layout submissions, gifts/giveaways, leads and analysis.
· Development of promotional items such as brochures, advertising, directories, promotions, sample cards, labeling, packaging and various other related materials.
· Development of GWBI Qualification Proposals for Sales team as needed.
· Creation and maintenance of the Content Calendar to include all content initiatives.
· Develop and implement sales training tools and processes, including business opportunity analysis models.
· Develop strong ties with key customers and key accounts and be proactive in understanding the trends and issues likely to impact the market.
· Advise the sales manager on sales directions, competitors and market trends, including new technology trends.
· Confirm, communicate, and implement and updates sales strategies for all markets.
· Provide ongoing management, analysis, control and reports.
· Competitor and customer intelligence.
· New market/customer target identification.
· Industry and market trends/forecasts.
· Conduct internet research in pursuit of leads and new business.
· Develop sales materials and tools.
· Execute and support GWBI website activities including design and strategy.
· Develop press releases and other PR.
· Other unnamed responsibilities as required.
COMPETENCIES
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
· Knowledge of Adobe Design programs.
· Knowledge of WordPress required.
· Knowledge of Salesforce required.
· Marketing/Sales experience with a minimum of 5 years management experience with highly engineered products preferably with Electric Overhead Traveling (EOT) Bridge Cranes or material handling equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment demonstrating acumen and leadership growth through increasingly responsible positions.
· Must have a proven track record of developing and effectively creating and implementing marketing and sales strategies, plans, forecasts and budgets.
· Must have the ability to create and manage a budget.
· Must have proven organizational design and process skills and be capable of reorienting or adapting the organization to optimize market conditions, sell highly engineered products, serve new types of customers, and support and service new product types.
· Must be adept in establishing and building strong collaborative business partnerships with large complex organizations.
· Absolute personal and intellectual integrity, maintaining the highest ethical standards.
