    The Regional Director of Operations role is responsible for assisting with and overseeing the operational processes within the commercial lines and personal lines service teams. The Director will work with the Regional VP of Operations to develop workflows, procedures, and training program, supporting teams throughout the region.

     

    This position can be based out of our Kansas City, Missouri location or Plano, Texas location.

    What You'll Do

    • Oversee the Regional P&C Apprenticeship Service Training Program for new hires and existing employees.  Programs will be unique to the role, and encompass insurance concepts, AssuredPartners corporate and regional procedures/workflows, technology, and continuing education.  Ensure that the region utilizes various corporate training tools to the fullest extent possible when applicable.
    • Assist local offices with finding resolutions to problems them encounter. Provide mentoring and guidance to Operation Leaders as needed.
    • Assist with the onboarding of new acquisitions or offices acquired by the region and compliance with AssuredPartners Corporate initiatives.
    • Oversee regional internal audit process for commercial and personal lines.  Concentrate on adherence to AssuredPartners procedures and workflows.  Provide results to regional and local management.  Identify training opportunities for service staff as needed.
    • Assist with the development of new or improving existing Agency Management System workflows, to ensure the region is utilizing the most current and efficient tools and technology available.  Educate applicable employees on new or revised workflows, tools and technology as needed.
    • Serve as a resource for Project Liftoff. Fully utilize corporate training teams and electronic resources possible.

    What You'll Need

    • 5 years related experience and/or training and education
    • Property & Casualty Agents License
    • In depth knowledge of agency management systems. 
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as commissions and percentages.
    • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in the various Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have knowledge of Database software.
