Regional Operations Director plans and directs an organization's operational policies, objectives, and initiatives for a divisional or regional business segment.   • The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and improving the day-to-day operations of the Company. This position plans, organizes, directs, and reports on the activities of each terminal and changes in customer requirements.

    Job Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and execute strategic and operational activities in conjunction with the COO and President.

    Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals.

    • Manage the department staff with responsibility for hiring, training, scheduling, managing performance, discipline, and overtime allotment.
    • Maintain adherence to company policy regarding operations and safety issues; ensure a safe and productive work environment is enforced at each facility.
    • Ensure compliance with KC Logistics Goals and KPI’s.
    • Oversee the customer support process to enhance customer satisfaction; develop relationships with key customer contacts for each location.
    • Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures; for major changes, meet with entire staff to ensure a seamless transition to new processes.
    • Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reports for all seven terminals.
    • Travel via car and plane to all locations.
    • Handle accelerated driver concerns.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Planning and Project Management Skills
    • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage confidential information.
    • Proven ability to plan and manage multiple customer requirements.
    • Strong Excel skills to create, manipulate and update reports.

    Education and Experience:

    • Extensive and diversified background with at least 5 years of related experience

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
