Regional Property Operations Manager manages the day-to-day operations for a property or portfolio of properties. Responsible for coordinating routine and emergency maintenance, selecting and managing contractors, and leading property improvement projects. Being a Regional Property Operations Manager develops financial and business plans for profitable property ownership. Oversees budgets, lease administration, and tenant service delivery. Additionally, Regional Property Operations Manager may initiate or assist with the buying and selling properties in the portfolio. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Regional Property Operations Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Regional Property Operations Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Summary:

    The Golf Operations Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of all aspects of the golf facility, consistently delivering customer service excellence and consistently meeting or exceeding member and guest expectations. Operate at both a tactical and strategic level, managing and continuously developing all aspects of the golf business. This involves providing a clear vision for its strategic direction, whilst taking personal responsibility for identifying additional sales and marketing opportunities; customer service excellence is consistently delivered, and revenues and profitability are maximized. Areas of responsibility are likely to include the golf shop, food and beverage, outside golf services, golf specific sales and marketing, the homeowners’ club and the facility’s administration.



    Essential job functions

    • Provide a clear vision of where the golf business is going and the route it will need to follow in order to get there. 
    • Provide effective leadership for the golf operations team, giving direction and providing support where needed. 
    • Work closely with the Director of Golf within the organization to ensure that the business development strategy for golf operations fits with the overall corporate strategy and supports/is supported by those of other business areas. 
    • Keep abreast of changes in the environment in which the organization operates and use this knowledge to identify new business development opportunities for all areas of golf operations. 
    • Produce supporting operational plans for different business areas that will contribute to achieving the objectives set out in the strategic plan. 
    • Influence and positively manage the development of organizational culture.
    • Recruit, induct, monitor and develop members of the golf operations team and complete regular performance reviews. 
    • Ensure that all members of the golf operations team have appropriate opportunities to develop skills, knowledge and experience to enhance their performance.
    • Develop, deliver and monitor learning and development activities for the team and to promote In-house training, PGA Training
    • Prepare, monitor and analyze operating budgets and take action to address variances, ensuring each operating area is maximizing efficiency and profitability. 
    • Ensure promotional activity is properly structured, communicated and delivered.


    Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk and crouch 
    • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.

    Qualifications: 

    • Two or four-year college degree
    • 2 or more years of experience in a similar role
    • PGA or LPGA Certification a positive but not required
