Regional Property Operations Manager jobs in Des Moines, IA

We are looking for a prudent Regional Property Manager to be responsible for providing leadership to oversee the daily operations of a group of residential properties. The goal is to maximize asset value, customer satisfaction and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial and business strategies relating to organizational property ownership
• Oversee property functions such as: maintenance, asset management, budgeting, staff development, resident escalations, and marketing within assigned portfolio
• Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility
• Effective client and staff relations
• Frequent email and phone communications with site leaders and line staff as well as property ownership
• Manage all aspects of assigned properties
• Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards
• Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
• Negotiate lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner
• Advertise and market vacant spaces to attract tenants
• Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses
• Oversee renovations from start to finish and ensure they are completed in a timely manner
• Travel is required

Skills

• Proven work experience as Regional Property Manager
• Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects
• In depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
• Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
• Customer focus and bottom line orientation
• Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
• Well organized with excellent time management skills
