To lead the day to day activities of a multifamily property management company in the affordable and market rate housing industry, with P&L responsibility for a multi-state portfolio; whereby ensuring compliance (HUD, tax credit) with local/state/ federal laws, and contractual obligations with residents and partners.
Maintain high levels of occupancy ( 95%) to achieve the Company's desired return on investment.
Direct oversight and management through regional leadership and property managers to maintain the quality standards set by the company. He/she will also oversee and supervise the compliance department. Has 5 direct reports.
Approve operating budgets that adequately fund the maintenance and upkeep of the property to secure its positioning within the market, and its ability to remain competitive while controlling operating costs and maximizing cash flow.
Supervise and assist regional property managers in responding to and resolving resident and personnel related issues.
Develop lease agreements and other contracts in accordance with established criteria; as to protect the company's interest.
Recruit top personnel, support on-boarding/training, and evaluation/review of their performance on assigned tasks.
