Regional Property Operations Manager manages the day-to-day operations for a property or portfolio of properties. Responsible for coordinating routine and emergency maintenance, selecting and managing contractors, and leading property improvement projects.     The Regional Operations Manager for the Northeast Region will drive operations performance for the Region to include building top performing district teams, driving business growth and meeting & exceeding financial performance goals.

    JOB SUMMARY:
    This is a Senior Operations Leadership position reporting into our Regional Vice President. This role will lead all aspects of Fire Life Safety business for the Northeast Region. We are searching for a candidate that can drive profitable growth, motivate teams and exceed financial goals.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Manage/have responsibilities over some of the Northeast U.S. Region Operations which initially includes offices in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey.
    • Strive to achieve financial, operational and customer satisfaction goals established by our Senior Leaders.
    • Lead, support and work along-side each District to achieve performance goals.
    • Retain and motivate district teams.
    • Drive the Region’s growth through new business and acquisitions.
    • Manage acquisition growth and integrations.
    • Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for all Districts within the region.
    • Facilitate regular District meetings for coordination of work and financial status monitoring
    • Closely manage revenue and cost control; work to correct any company-wide budgetary deficiencies
    • Foster, model and enforce a safe work environment
    JOB REQUIREMENTS:
    • 5 years in a supervisory or management role with multi-state/multi-location experience.
    • A four-year college degree in construction management, engineering or business administration is preferred
    • Successful multi-location management experience within the Fire Life Safety, Fire Protection industry.
    • Experience driving business growth and efficiencies.
    • Managing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for multiple districts, locations.
    • Ability to recruit, build teams, motivate and retain top talent.
    • Possess well-developed interviewing and hiring skills.
    • Experience driving acquisitions and managing integrations.
    • Demonstrated analytical skills and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to travel throughout the region, including overnight lodging
    • Must possess a passion for team safety and the ability to balance operations with safe work prioritization
    • Must possess a strong work ethic and the ability to drive business growth
    • Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to develop employees
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
    • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
    • Ability to work within a team environment.
    • Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision.
    • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
    • Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes.
    In addition to the above, the most desirable candidate will have:
    • Industry licensing or certification of competency with fire alarms and commercial fire sprinklers
    Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
