Regional Property Operations Manager manages the day-to-day operations for a property or portfolio of properties. Responsible for coordinating routine and emergency maintenance, selecting and managing contractors, and leading property improvement projects. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations of multiple properties within a designated region
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize property performance and achieve financial goals
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess condition and identify areas for improvement
- Manage leasing activities, including marketing, tenant screening, and lease negotiations
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and address any concerns or issues that arise
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competition to inform pricing and marketing strategies
- Prepare and present reports on property performance, financials, and occupancy rates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in property management or related role
- Strong knowledge of leasing regulations and fair housing laws
- Proficient in data entry and property management software (e.g., Rentmanager)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively manage conflicts and resolve issues
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
