The Maternal Child Nurse Manager has the 24 hour responsibility for the management, organization, and overall operation of labor & delivery, nursery, and postpartum/pediatric departments. Guides the staff in these departments to deliver consistent professional high quality care to the patients served. Responsible for managing budgets, including basic development and predicting revenues and expenditures. Current MS RN license with BSN from an accredited school of nursing required. Supervisory experience preferred with knowledge and skills appropriate for the care of patient population served. BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications required.
