The Regional People Business Partner provides general HR support our Moe’s Southwest Grill and our Sonic Drive-In restaurants throughout Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Maryland and District of Columbia. This is a remote position, based out of the Jacksonville, Florida or Orlando, Florida area with travel estimated at 50%. This position reports to the VP of People Resources & Risk.

Overview of Essential Functions:

• Partners with operations, coaching regional leadership on talent and leveraging the best attraction and selection techniques.
• Responsible for various administrative processes including reviewing background checks, tracking and employee retention programs, initiating FMLA/LOA process, preparing various reports and metrics, investigating safety concerns and entering and maintaining data in multiple systems such as ATS, HRIS, etc.
• Responsible for investigating priority complaints and partnering with operations leadership on secondary complaints. Adheres to company procedures on the complaint investigation process, resolution, and documentation.
• Conducts bench planning sessions with operations leadership.
• Responsible for the successful execution of the performance management process.
• Partners with operations leadership on calibration sessions with Quality Restaurant Group executive team.
• Partners with Training and Development leadership on career pathing tools, resources, and development plans for unit and above unit leadership. Responsible for developing operations leadership by facilitating people training to include People Compliance; Culture of Champions; Attracting and Selecting Great People along with other people-related strategic initiatives.
• Responsible for rolling out employee opinion surveys and annual benefits open enrollment processes. Responsible for employee opinion results sharing and action planning.

This position is a remote position, based out of Jacksonville, Florida or Orlando, Florida.

• Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources; Behavioral Sciences; Business or related field required.
• Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR) or Society of Human Resource Management Certification (SHRM-CP) is required or may be completed within one year of hire date.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Professional Experience:

· 7 years Human Resources Management experience is required

· 5 years serving as a business partner or generalist is required.

· Restaurant experience, or knowledge of restaurant operations is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
