Provides leadership, direction and clinical and operational supervision of patient care for Pre & Post Surgery.  Demonstrates responsibility for quality and care management improvement initiatives and implementation and maintenance of standards. Acts as the leader and role model for professional practice conducted in the areas under their supervision and demonstrates responsibility for standards development and staff education.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in related field. Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience in lieu of the degree.
• Current R.N. License required;
• ACLS and BLS required.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions; maintain attention and concentration for necessary periods; synthesize, coordinate, and analyze data, perform simple and repetitive tasks; maintain a work pace appropriate to given work load; perform complex and varied tasks; relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions; get along with co-workers and peers; understand the meaning of words and how to use them appropriately and effectively; understand and remember detailed instructions; make independent decisions or exercise judgment based on appropriate information; accept and carry out responsibility for direction, control and planning.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
