Regional Retail Banking President directs all facets of operations for a group of retail branch offices in a designated geographic area. Defines sales and service initiatives for the region. Being a Regional Retail Banking President develops objectives and measurement standards and monitors each branch's performance. Ensures that branch administration teams conduct operations and provide the service and product offerings that meet the needs of customers in that region. Additionally, Regional Retail Banking President may have responsibility for additional retail products such as small business and consumer lending. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Regional Retail Banking President manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. About the role:
Responsible for positioning FIS as an industry leader in our Regional & Community Banking Growth Accounts, leveraging domain expertise, knowledge of FIS solutions and their influence in the market. Responsibilities include driving sales activities with executive level interactions. Leveraging their network to identify opportunities and work with the product teams on changing market requirements. Support the sales team with insights into the sales motion and buying behaviour of the client. Responsible for the full sales process from lead generation to opportunity closure within assigned territory.
What you will be doing:
Sales Engagement
Drive sales of FIS products and solutions within assigned territory. Products include any relevant banking and payment solutions applicable for this market.
Leverage technology made available to sales team, including but not limited to CRM system.
Manage and keep accurate a quarterly and annual forecast.
Develop and maintain C Level relationships at banks through in person interactions.
Business Strategy
Work with partners in our business units to ensure alignment across our groups.
Solutions Management
Works very closely with the Sales Growth Office (SGO) solutions managers
Leverage internal FIS resources to help drive opportunities forward.
Marketing
Work with marketing and Go to Market (GTM) teams to help drive strategic initiatives and campaigns.
What you will need:
5 years industry experience
5 years selling experience
Strong grasp of competitive landscape in the industry
Deep relationships within key institutions in the industry
Proven track record of success in a sales role
An understanding of FIS product and service offerings that are relevant in the market
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proven C-level engagement experience
Ability to create and shape market facing messaging and positioning.
