Regional Care, Inc. (RCI) is one of the nation’s premier independent third-party insurance administrators based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and is actively looking for an individual with strong customer service to join the team as a Financial Specialist for Funding/Stop Loss.

To serve this mission, the Financial Specialist for Funding/Stop Loss will be responsible for funding processes to include daily funding request to groups; daily claims funding process for health, dental and vision claims; daily check runs for health, dental, and vision claims; specific stop loss claim filings; specific stop loss processes; adjusting claims for refund check received; research refund checks; and application of refund checks.   

As an RCI Financial Specialist for Funding/Stop Loss, you will:

• Complete process for daily funding requests to groups including verification of credits due group with explanation; review totals to ensure accurate funding request amount is being requested; verification of check number sequence, if applicable; communicate funding request to group to request funds to pay claims.

• Post funds daily that are received from groups in the claims system; building and verification of ACH transaction file to transfer funds to pay claims based on groups’ approvals; review of bank accounts for wires from groups.
• Review workflows for stop payment questions, verifying type of payment, communicating with vendor and/or bank as appropriate, completing stop pay and reissue or block as needed, complete workflow as needed for internal communication and procedures. 

You may be a good fit if you have:

• A High School Diploma with education in business/accounting preferred
• One to two years of experience in business/accounting preferred
• One to two years of experience in general office preferred
