Regional Sales Manager manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region. Manages multiple districts within a region and adjusts sales goals and procedures as appropriate for each district. Being a Regional Sales Manager designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies. Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume. Additionally, Regional Sales Manager collects relevant competitors' market information to increase sales volume and market share. May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Regional Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Responsibilities:
● Develop business on the Client line of products within the assigned
geographical territory
● Focus on generating demand for Client products with end-users by either
directly or indirectly (channel) developing selling strategies.
● Develop and manage channel partners in the assigned territory in order to execute
Enconnex sales growth strategy
● Ensure internal company functions give the highest level of customer service to the
customer base in the territory
● Actively prospect focused end-user targets that are assigned in the territory
● Create account business plans to include quarterly business reviews, marketing
plans, suggestions, sales objectives, and forecasting.
● Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing on brand awareness
strategies.
● Attend key conferences and trade shows.
● Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business, or related fields; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
● Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience and 2 years selling to enterprise
and/or data center accounts and channel partners
● Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the data center industry; specific
experience selling Data Center Physical Infrastructure products: Power, Cooling,
Cabinets/Containment, connectivity is highly preferred.
