Regional Sales Manager manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region. Manages multiple districts within a region and adjusts sales goals and procedures as appropriate for each district. Being a Regional Sales Manager designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies. Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume. Additionally, Regional Sales Manager collects relevant competitors' market information to increase sales volume and market share. May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Regional Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Regional Sales Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Overview of the Role 

    • Responsible for managing a retail team within a defined, market territory 
    • Directly manage and train Retail Representatives 
    • Interact with Director for selection, prioritization and execution of retail services 
    • Execute consistent retail practices including use of retail software  
    • Location: Remote - Los Angeles, CA
    • Salary Range: $50,000 - 60,000 annually

    What You’ll Do at C.A. Carlin 

    • Manage, support, hire and train Retail Representatives 
    • Retail software Mission execution including data entry verification and completion score carding 
    • Consistent and quality photo compilation to align with proper task, mission.   
    • Maintain comprehensive and accurate store listings 
    • Delegation of store assignment, routes and frequency to individual Retail Representatives   
    • Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve execution 
    • Regular communication to Director to include successes, failures, opportunities, monthly recaps  
    • Conduct monthly region meetings within team to communicate expectations, results, priorities 
    • Ensure sales materials are available and supplied, including samples, sell sheets, specifications, IRC’s, etc 
    • Personnel management inclusive of hiring, firing, performance reviews 
    • Personnel training for best practices, use of software, expectations  
    • Manage team travel and expense budgets 

     

    Goals

    • Works closely with Director, Retail Services for efficient and profitable deployment of company personnel and company assets against retail projects and retail expectations 
    • Establishes and maintains consistent retail practices and standard operating procedures within the assigned retail market. 
    • Fully deploys GoSpotCheck for Mission completion and comprehensive measurement of retail activity 

     

    What You Should Bring to the Table 

    • High school education or higher required 
    • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft suites including Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
    • Ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as independently
