Regional Sales Manager manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region. Regional Sales Manager
SUMMARY Regional Sales Manager. Under broad supervision, is responsible for all sales efforts on the bulk and packaged lines of Liberty Orchards products with a key focus to establish new distributors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Work closely with Food Brokers and Buyers. Will be responsible for building a network of new distributors. This includes, cold calling, sending samples, arranging for meetings to discuss a program with Liberty Orchards products, and all follow up necessary.
Provides liaison between our customers and our company regarding pricing, invoicing, promotional opportunities, activities, etc.
On a regular basis, makes direct contact to assigned customers.
Recommends and participates in national and regional trade shows.
Maintains and submits sales activity reports on a regular basis.
Manage the use of budgets and align with P&L objectives.
Helps to develop and maintain marketing programs in area of responsibility.
Forecasts cases, pounds, and dollar sales for both every-day and seasonal items.
Ensures that all customers are provided product samples.
Is responsible for managing territory and account specific assigned budgets. Budgets to include trade funds, returns, travel and entertainment expenses, etc.
Performs other duties as required by management of the Company.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. An equivalency of education could possibly fulfill formal degree requirements. Experience as Sales manager in Food Industry and preferably with snacks and confectionaries.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
