Regional Sales Manager manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region.     We're in search of a Regional Sales Manager with responsibility for growing revenue of new equipment and aftermarket sales within the sanitary processing markets in the Western US and Canada. The ideal Regional Sales Manager candidate will have prior experience selling capital equipment and aftermarket parts and service through sales partner channels as well as direct sales experience. The West Coast Regional Sales Manager position requires travel and a close proximity (within one hour) to a primary commercial airport.


    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage the outside sales function within the geographic territory by overseeing all activities of the respective sales channel, handling applications, and preparing proposals, responding to customer needs, and developing the systems needed for effective communication and motivation
    • Take full responsibility in the hiring and termination of sales agencies within the geographic territory as required to maintain company sales goals
    • Manage and monitor the activities of assigned Rep offices including setting of all sales targets, reviewing monthly and quarterly goals and key account targets, as well as providing local training for new and existing individuals within the office (prior to regular factory sales schools)
    • Follow-up with Rep offices regarding quarterly goals and key target accounts on a quarterly basis
    • Conduct regional customer sales seminars within key client facilities or geographical locations
    • Assist other Admix personnel in setting up and conducting regional training schools as necessary
    • Be present at Admix when customers within the geographical territory visit Admix or coordinate for coverage from other sales team members
    • Assist with laboratory testing when customers within the geographical territory visit Admix
    • Utilize CRM as a primary sales tool, and keep CRM data for customers, contacts, leads, and opportunities updated
    • Remote (work from home) which requires traveling to end user facilities (in conjunction with Sales Channel Partners if needed) to discuss and review opportunities for our equipment, working with the inside sales team for applications/technical support and for preparing proposals, overseeing field trials of our equipment, and working with the Lab Manager to arrange end user product testing

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Must have superior communication skills and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines as well as the ability to motivate; Bilingual abilities are a plus
    • Willingness to work with end users before, during, and after the sale
    • Strong sense of urgency and rapid response time
    • Ability to build and develop relationships
    • Solid technical ability and knowledge of the sanitary industry manufacturing process
    • Prior experience utilizing CRM as a sales tool is a must
    • Solid technical ability and knowledge of the sanitary industry manufacturing process
    • Must have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Experience with, and willingness to utilize, videoconferencing technology as an internal and external communication tool
    • Must be able to lift 30 pounds, climb stairs, ladders and travel domestic and international as needed

    Required Education and Experience

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales (including direct sales), sales management, or customer service

    Preferred Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
    • Previous experience selling capital equipment and aftermarket parts within the sanitary mixing industry

    Travel Requirements

    • Must be able to travel up to 50% - this includes plane travel and living within an hour to a primary commercial airport
