Support Care Professional II 1-2 Years Experience $24,024.34 Annual
Support Care Professional III 2-3 Years Experience $26,369.81 Annual
Semi-monthly / per hour / Overtime is available
SCHEDULE/SHIFTS:
1st shift: 6:00 A.M. - 2:30 P.M.
2nd shift: 2:00 P.M. – 10:30 P.M. Plus 10% Shift Differential
3rd shift: 10:00 P.M. – 6:30 A.M. Plus 15% Shift Differential
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is semi-skilled level work in the care and supervision of clients at a state mental health facility. Employees assist residents in all areas of physical care and assume total responsibility for the hygiene of clients who are unable to independently perform such tasks. Other duties include general housekeeping assignments, participating in social and
recreational activities for the residents, and writing nontechnical reports on client behavior and activity. General supervision is received from a Direct Care Supervisor, Alternate Supervisor, shift leader, or nursing supervisor; supervisory responsibilities are not assigned to positions allocated to this job class. Other duties may apply as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A standard high school Diploma, or transcript, from an accredited four year high school or a state issued G.E.D. equivalent transcript. A valid MS Driver License, or license from a contiguous state, is required to work at the community homes. Community home staff must be eligible to drive a State vehicle once employed.
