RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Manager, Application Support, within the IT Department, this position is responsible for the provision of all SANDIS software support related activities to customers statewide. Responsible for the coordination, development and design of software support and training materials related to programs which integrate SANDIS technology with the Department of Developmental Services, Uniform Fiscal System. Responsible for the direction and coordination of all implementation, support, and training activities for all SANDIS customers. Responsible for the supervision and in-service training of all corporate Application Analyst staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Software Development Management, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. At least two (2) or more years of supervisory experience or the completion of a certified management related educational program.
EXPERIENCE
At least two (2) or more years of experience responsible for project management, software development and implementation of complex software applications; effective working knowledge of project estimation techniques; and experience using RPG and/or command line and graphical user interfaces.
OTHER
Ability to lead, motivate and supervise staff. Ability to define problems and provide solutions. Empathetic to the needs of end-users. Substantial knowledge of the IBM Midrange Computer series. Overnight travel may be required.
STARTING SALARY
$7,721 to $8,493 monthly
