Being a Registrar ensures that all requirements have been met prior to graduation and that diplomas are factually correct. Determines students who have achieved certain scholastic goals, such as the Dean's List. Additionally, Registrar requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Registrar contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     This Assistant Registrar position plays a critical support role serving a variety of needs for faculty, staff, and students. In this position, you will oversee student records: perform data entry, prepare and maintain student records, problem-solve student record issues and system errors, prepare final exam schedule, process student transfer credit, and assist with end of term processing. You will also provide support for other areas of the department and assist with commencement, transfer credit processing, degree evaluation/planner, and curriculum changes as well as serve as the Registrar in their absence. Other duties may be assigned to meet the Institute’s business needs.

    Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree and two to three years of experience in a registrar’s office is required. Excellent decision-making, time management, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in the handling of all office information and documents are essential. Analytical, project/process management, and computer/technical (database, spreadsheet, and word processing) skills are necessary. Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to present information and respond to questions from faculty, staff, and students are required.
