Regulatory Affairs Director oversees regulatory matters and executes the strategy to ensure the organization complies with applicable regulations. Develops processes and systems to ensure that all necessary licensing, filings, certifications, and permits are processed and monitored. Being a Regulatory Affairs Director establishes monitoring policies and procedures to ensure compliance with existing regulations. Anticipates new or changing regulations and coordinates with internal stakeholders to develop strategies to address changes in product, operations, or testing requirements. Additionally, Regulatory Affairs Director investigates and addresses any reported issues of non-compliance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Regulatory Affairs Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Regulatory Affairs Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     JOB TITLE:   

    Financial Affairs Support Team Internship

    JOB PURPOSE:   

    The subdivision of Financial Affairs is seeking highly motivated Financial Affairs Support Team Interns who are innovative, creative, collaborative, possess great attention to detail, and are interested in exploring finance or business-related careers in higher education, specifically at UW. Interns will engage in a two-week training session to familiarize them with general University financial policies, procedures, and financial management/reporting systems and business operations. JFNTMP

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

    • Provide essential business and financial services and support to campus departments 
    • Analyze financial information and provide results and recommendations. 
    • Provide personalized training and support to campus financial staff as needed. 
    • May assist in documenting reports, validating data, and maintaining websites. 
    • Work with project lead and subject matter experts to develop or update learning materials for instructor-led training, web-based training, and other learning-related materials as appropriate. 
    • Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents related to relevant training materials 
    • Collaborate with others to design and develop graphics, media, communications, and presentations.  
    • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. 
    • Attend and participate in trainings and other professional development activities. 
    • Participate in performance-related goal setting and achievement to meet personal and organizational goals and objectives.

    REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

    High School Graduate or equivalent 

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

    • Interest in Business, Human Resources, Data Analytics and/or Higher Education 
    • Desire to work for the University of Wyoming post-graduation
