Regulatory Affairs Director oversees regulatory matters and executes the strategy to ensure the organization complies with applicable regulations. Develops processes and systems to ensure that all necessary licensing, filings, certifications, and permits are processed and monitored. Being a Regulatory Affairs Director establishes monitoring policies and procedures to ensure compliance with existing regulations. Anticipates new or changing regulations and coordinates with internal stakeholders to develop strategies to address changes in product, operations, or testing requirements. Additionally, Regulatory Affairs Director investigates and addresses any reported issues of non-compliance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Regulatory Affairs Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Regulatory Affairs Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. About the Opportunity
Reports to: Safety Manager
We are searching for a Regulatory Compliance Professional who will be responsible for being subject matter expert for the Company’s of state and federal operating certificates and regulatory compliance with regard to ATF, DOT/FMCSA and the Company’s Explosives Operating Policy (EOP). This position’s activities will include the formulation and communication of compliance operating procedures, management of the administrative and filing systems, and the hands-on enforcement of such for the entire Company. Said individual, will work with, develop and maintain, an internal compliance programs for each department that is regulated by ATF, DOT, FMCSA, MSHA, OSHA, or any other State or Federal agency.

About You
You are an experienced compliance professional with at least five years of relevant experience in a compliance role with working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA and ATF regulatory compliance. You are adept at multi-tasking and staying organized, and you are familiar with creating process and policy related to regulatory compliance. You have exceptional and highly effective communication skills with all levels of individuals in a team-oriented environment.
