Regulatory Affairs Director oversees regulatory matters and executes the strategy to ensure the organization complies with applicable regulations. Develops processes and systems to ensure that all necessary licensing, filings, certifications, and permits are processed and monitored. Being a Regulatory Affairs Director establishes monitoring policies and procedures to ensure compliance with existing regulations. Anticipates new or changing regulations and coordinates with internal stakeholders to develop strategies to address changes in product, operations, or testing requirements. Additionally, Regulatory Affairs Director investigates and addresses any reported issues of non-compliance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Regulatory Affairs Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Regulatory Affairs Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Baylor University is seeking a Coordinator for Multicultural Affairs that will support the mission of the university by assisting in the day-to-day operations within the Department of Multicultural Affairs. 

    *This is a temporary, less than one year position.  

    A Bachelor’s degree, two years of relevant experience and an active Christian faith are required. A Master’s degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.

    A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement. 

    All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

    What You Will Do

    • Assist with Multicultural Affairs Mosaic Week/Welcome Week Programming pertaining to Mosaic Mixer, Black Student Welcome, Latin X Night, Asian Mosaic Night, and Mosaic Hump Night
    • Assist in the planning and implementation of Multicultural Affairs Orientation Programming pertaining to Campus Connections and Departmental informational sessions
    • Assist in the execution of Admissions/Recruitment events/meetings on behalf of the Department.
    • Assist in the planning and implementation of Heritage Month Programs (Womens History Month, Asian and Pacific American Heritage Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Native American Heritage Month, Black History Month)
    • Assist with the planning and implementation of all activities required for the Scholars Programs housed in the Department of Multicultural Affairs (Trailblazer Scholars Program, MLK Scholars Program, Vivienne Malone Mayes Scholars Program)
    • Assist with the planning and implementation of the Kente Multicultural Graduation Celebration
    • Provide support or referral services to help students achieve social and educational goals
    • Serve as a contact and liaison for students
    • Work on special projects as assigned
    • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission 
    • Ability to comply with University policies 
    • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
