Regulatory Affairs Specialist jobs in Winston Salem, NC

Regulatory Affairs Specialist supports the oversight of regulatory matters and strategy implementation to ensure the organization complies with applicable regulations. Prepares filings and tracks applications for licensing, certification, and permits and interacts with governmental officials during the regulation and certification process. Being a Regulatory Affairs Specialist monitors compliance with existing regulations and upcoming or changing regulations. Performs impact analysis of regulatory changes and produces status reports. Additionally, Regulatory Affairs Specialist participates in processes to report, investigate, and addresses any issues of non-compliance. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Regulatory Affairs Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

    • Leadership in the development and execution of analytic plans and interpretation and review of quantitative results
    • Data management with a focus on regulatory reporting requirements
    • Project management across multiple projects with internal and external stakeholders
    • Responding quickly and with quality to time-sensitive deliverables
    • Versatility in a fast-paced environment

    ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    • Minimum of master’s level education in social/behavioral science, public health, or other quantitative/methodological-focused field; OR minimum of ~3 years of years of regulatory science or analytic professional experience
    • Advanced analytical skills including interpreting results and communicating results to a range of audiences
    • Experience in conducting literature reviews and synthesizing evidence
    • Understanding of survey instrumentation development and psychometrics
    • Strong communication and collaborative skills
    • Statistical programming experience
