Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Regulatory Relations Liaison typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Material Liaison Job Duties
· Maintain thorough knowledge of own job site location, as well as an understanding of how that impacts the other entities of contact.
· Monitor, help coordinate, and communicate schedules, shipments, inventory, and late deliveries or stagnate trailers with material.
· Collaborate and communicate successfully with DTNA outside of facility floor to include team leads, facility supervisors and managers of respected location.
· Collaborate and communicate with local Universal WH team and manager on loads leaving or delays that impact businesses.
· Work with other staff members to develop a greater understanding of the business and any issues that arise. Schedule daily meetings (5-10 mins), to understand pulse of business. What information or KPI’s need to be discussed or implemented for daily review. (Aging Report)
· Proactively collect, analyze, and utilize data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the relationship between Liaison, Universal, Ryder and DTNA.
· Compile reports about particular incidents, events, or updates about an important issue for the business
· Proactively solve conflicts and address issues that could occur between all partners to ensure continuity.
· Promptly respond to incidents, request, and questions or follow up
· Perform other duties and assignments as requested by management.
· Understand and learn the WMS system, how to extract information, how to report system issues, help train DTNA staff on user functions.
· Send out end of shift report detailing the day’s events and watch outs for the following business day.
· Collaborate with local facilities on shipments, completed paperwork, dispatch and follow up/Close the loop.
· Help monitor and facilitate returnable levels to ensure production is not affected.
