May represent the organization before federal or state legislations. Additionally, Regulatory Relations Liaison requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Regulatory Relations Liaison typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Regulatory Relations Liaison typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Taxi Safety and Regulatory Compliance Specialist

    Responsibilities of a Taxi Safety and Regulatory Compliance:

    • Conduct driver road tests to ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards. Must have a valid Colorado Drivers License.
    • Perform driver road audits for contracts to verify compliance with contractual safety requirements.
    • Facilitate weekly safety meetings with drivers to discuss safety protocols, address concerns, and provide updates.
    • Manage accident reporting procedures, including investigating incidents, documenting findings, and implementing corrective actions.
    • Develop and deliver weekly safety messages to drivers to promote awareness and reinforce safety practices.
    • Ensure compliance with drug and alcohol testing regulations for drivers across various accounts.
    • Assist in employee compliance with Drug and Alcohol Regulations (FTA), including adherence to testing protocols and documentation requirements.
    • Monitor compliance for contracts.
    • Maintain compliance with Colorado Public Utilities Commission (PUC) regulations related to driver safety and operations.
    • Manage driver file compliance for accounts to ensure all documentation and records are up-to-date and accurate.

    Qualifications of a Taxi Safety and Regulatory Compliance:

    • Relevant experience in being a Safety Compliance Officer
    • Experience in safety in regards to the transportation industry is a plus!
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
    • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
