May represent the organization before federal or state legislations. Additionally, Regulatory Relations Liaison requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Regulatory Relations Liaison typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. JOB SUMMARY:
Is responsible for the planning, executing, directing and evaluating the nursing care given to the patient. The role is defined as the pre-procedure, intra-procedure and the post-procedure period. May have contact with the patient in each phase of the endoscopy experience. The responsibility includes the preparation assembly and organization of the environment, equipment and supplies necessary to perform the activities necessary for the preparation and the recovery of the ambulatory patient.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
RN with current NY state license
Current CPR certification
Current ACLS certification (If applicable)
Previous Endoscopy experience, one year preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
