Regulatory Relations Liaison is responsible for filing necessary applications and handling all government interactions pertaining to the regulation and certification process for a plant or other facility. Develops procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. Being a Regulatory Relations Liaison prepares reports for top management detailing projects that may impact the organization's regulation status. May represent the organization before federal or state legislations. Additionally, Regulatory Relations Liaison requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Regulatory Relations Liaison typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Regulatory Relations Liaison typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Outreach Liaison

  • PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
    Supports the mission, core values and customer service of Home Dialysis Services & Dialysis Care Center, LLC (HDS/DCC).
    Adheres to the HDS/DCC Policies and Procedures and Compliance Program including all state and federal regulatory requirements.
    The Dialysis Outreach Liaison is responsible for direct outreach, marketing and advertising that will result in increased referrals and exceptional customer service. Also, responsible for maintaining relationships with key health care professionals within and outside of the communities that we serve.

    PRIMARY DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:

    • Visit hospitals, Assisted Living facilities and Nursing homes to introduce and market our companies’ exceptional dialysis services and increase referrals.
    • Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with unaffiliated Physicians, Case Managers, Social Workers and Discharge planners. Assist in discharging the dialysis patients to the nearest DCC In Center.
    • Obtain feedback to ensure referring physicians are satisfied with the admission process and customer service.
    • Perform marketing activities for an assigned geographic area to achieve or exceed assigned objectives.
    • Assist in developing engaging marketing and advertising materials, print and digital.
    • Build and execute a social media strategy through platform determination and benchmarking.
    • Coordinate Clinic Open Houses to enhance our public image.
    • Continually monitors and make suggestions on how to improve our branding and public relations based on feedback in the field.
    • Represent the company at professional conferences, fairs, and community events.
    • Tracking patients per referral sources on the Dashboard
    • Reporting activities on the Dashboard.
    • Participate in individual & group projects as directed by management.
    • Significant local and regional travel is required.
    • Other duties, as assigned.

    CUSTOMER SERVICE:

    • Responsible for supporting the values and customer service standards of HDS/DCC.
    • Representing our company in a professional and caring manner.
    • Accountable for outstanding customer service to all staff, clients and vendors
    • Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.
    • Initiates action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.

    EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, with an emphasis in Marketing, or related fields is required
    • 3-5 years of Marketing experience is required or Sales
    • Healthcare marketing experience
    • EXPERIENCE:
    • Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting; experience in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word and Excel a must.
    • Good presentation & communication/ interpersonal skills
    • Ability to handle different projects simultaneously.
    • Must be productive & resourceful with the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Must enjoy and flourish while working in a non-structured environment.
    • Sales experience is a plus
    OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Experience as a Dialysis Patient Care Technician (PCT), Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is a plus.
    • Must be a self-starter who can work independently yet function in a highly collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
    • Must be self-directed with ability to work with little supervision.
    • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively
    • Excellent presentation skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong data entry, organizational and interpersonal skills
    • High integrity, team player with patient service focus and flexibility

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Day to day work includes desk and personal computer work and interaction with prospective and current clients. The position requires travel between assigned facilities and various locations. Travel to scheduled staff meetings may be required.
    The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. The work environment is also characteristic of a dialysis center or a patient’s home and as such the employee may be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/ materials.
    Must be able to lift 30 pounds as needed.
