Regulatory Relations Liaison is responsible for filing necessary applications and handling all government interactions pertaining to the regulation and certification process for a plant or other facility. Develops procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. Being a Regulatory Relations Liaison prepares reports for top management detailing projects that may impact the organization's regulation status. May represent the organization before federal or state legislations. Additionally, Regulatory Relations Liaison requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Regulatory Relations Liaison typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Regulatory Relations Liaison typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     We are interested in candidates who possess a unique creativity to work within the current climate of healthcare and marketing. The Community Liaison will require interactions with physicians, hospitals, and community partners as we seek to provide continued delivery of care throughout the service area. Candidates will need to feel confident in their ability to be a self-starter, as well as work with an interdisciplinary team of highly skilled hospice members.     Essential job functions & responsibilities:

    • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources
    • Build and monitor community, customer, payer, and patient perceptions of the organization
    • Assist in strategic planning to identify opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs
    • Maintain comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing
    • Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of Suncrest Hospice markets

    Qualifications

    • Extensive experience in healthcare sales, especially home care and/or hospice
    • Ability to market aggressively while simultaneously maintaining positive industry relationships
    • Demonstration of good communication, negotiation, and public relations skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with referral sources
    • Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
