Regulatory Relations Liaison jobs in Passaic, NJ

The Community Relations Liaison is responsible for referral development, marketing, building strong client relations, education, and a positive community image of Unicity Healthcare. The Liaison will have ongoing communication with clients, families, and referral sources. This position is primarily field based and will be working independently, however it is an integral part of the Unicity Healthcare Team. 

Job Responsibilities:

Knowledge Acquisition

• Quickly become familiar with the assigned territory, the facilities within that territory and the key personnel within those facilities
• Become skilled in the use of Wellsky/ClearCare application.
• Be able to utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for communications and tracking purposes.
• Manages calls and initial intakes for homecare prospects.

Communications

• Primary contact for client and family to assist with problem solving, referrals, and navigating the Unicity operations (scheduling, billing, nursing) 
• Communicate and work with Senior Advisor team regarding any client that utilizes Unicity Homecare
• Ongoing communication/ updates to referral source and all disciplines involved regarding client status.
• Maintain strong relationships with all assigned referral sources within designated territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with an array of professionals and provide education on the Homecare services Unicity has to offer 
• Maintain ongoing communication with Homecare and Senior Advisor team members regarding intakes and ongoing client management within Microsoft Teams application  

Client Management

• Ongoing in person visits to  clients, with communication to families as appropriate
• Continue to keep up to date with all aspects of each of their assigned clients (Caregiver schedule, any change in client status, hospitalization, nurse visits, etc)
• Document appropriately per prospect/client in Wellsky/ Clear Care
• Update referral source document as needed
• Utilize and update Excel spreadsheets as needed
• Create, plan, and implement various, creative marketing strategies and Unicity company events
• Participate in on-call rotation assigned by Director of BD
• Attend all team meetings, including weekly client review with Homecare Team members

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years’ experience in community relations
• Previous healthcare marketing experience, preferable in Home Care
• Experience in obtaining referrals from private pay clients preferred
• Must be able to work independently, speak in front of small groups, and actively establish and grow productive partnerships
• Personal network of professional contacts in northern NJ preferred.
